An Akima subsidiary has won a potential $153 million to help the U.S. Air Force manage and secure operations at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex in Tennessee.
Akima Intra-Data will provide test and industrial security services and support command, control, and communication functions in the facility located at Arnold AF Base, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Work also covers fire and emergency, safety, occupational and environmental health cargo movement, vehicle maintenance and base supply services. The service branch received two offers for the Facility Support Services II contract via a small business set-aside competition.
Other locations of work are White Oak, Md. and Moffett Field, Calif. The Pentagon expects AID to complete work by Nov. 30, 2027.
