Cummings Aerospace, Dyneticsand Georgia Tech Applied Research Corp. have received separate contracts worth up to $9.9 million each to provide hardware, software and design services to the U.S. Air Force.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday contractors will support the military branch’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence & Munitions Test Improvement program.
Each contractor will build hardware, software or prototype systems that will work to help the Air Force develop or modify facilities and infrastructure needed to test, train and evaluate C4I and munitions systems.
Work will occur in Huntsville, Alabama and in Atlanta, Georgia through Aug. 25, 2017.
The Air Force Test Center received three offers for the program and will obligate $1, 000 to each awardee at the time of the award from fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
