The U.S. Air Force is looking for potential sources of eneterprise information technology and communications services to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center in Dayton, Ohio.
The service branch intends to use industry feedback to inform its plans to issue a follow-on award to the COMET indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for enterprise IT support at the facility, according to a notice posted Wednesday on the beta SAM website.
According to a separate work statement, contract work could potentially cover a five-year ordering period and include 24/7 help desk support, IT infrastructure monitoring, IT equipment sanitation, cybersecurity services and systems engineering.
Services may also encompass network support for data center and cloud-based operations as well as Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service functionalities.
The contractor may additionally be tasked to provide maintenance, configuration and operational support for third-party cloud services such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
Responses to the request for information are due on April 23.
