The U.S. Air Force is looking for a contractor to develop and demonstrate a proof of concept for an enterprise data loss prevention system at a military installation.
A solicitation notice posted Wednesday stated that the service branch wants a potential vendor to test the POC with at least 100 users and its ability to protect data on-premises or in cloud computing environments.
The branch envisions the platform supporting encryption of data traffic and centralized management of sensor consoles as well as detection, classification and assessment of content.
The system should also process alerts across multiple classifications and networks through a cross-domain method, according to the request for quotes.
USAF noted that it aims to train information technology airmen and data owners on how to use DLP tools through the program.
Interested vendors have until June 16 to submit responses to the RFQ.
