Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has secured a $92.9M modification under the Systems Engineering, Management and Sustainment III contract to continue supporting the U.S. Air Force’s weather-related missions.
The Department of Defense said Tuesday the modification would bring the potential ceiling value of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to $392.9M and add six months to the ordering period.
Under the contract, Northrop helps the Air Force Weather Agency engineer, manage and sustain enterprise-level systems used to collect terrestrial and space environmental data from multiple sensors.
The company will continue to perform tasks at Offutt AF Base in Nebraska through July 31, 2022.
