Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received $99 million in delivery orders to provide Sniper Advanced Targeting Pods, spares and upgrade services to Belgium, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Thailand,  Turkey and the Netherlands through the foreign military sales program.
The orders come under a potential $485 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract the U.S. Air Force awarded to Lockheed’s missiles and fire control unit in March, the company said Tuesday.
“Using the ID/IQ, our foreign military sales customers can choose from a selection of pre-priced Sniper ATP products that address their unique needs, ” said Ken Fuhr,  fixed-wing program director at Lockheed’s missiles and fire control business.
Fuhr added the company aims to help address customer requirements for targeting operations through the contract.
Sniper ATP comprises two-color laser spot tracking,  Global Scope software and short-wave infrared technologies and designed to integrate with F-15, F-16, F-18, B-1, B-52, A-10 and F-2 aircraft platforms.
