The U.S. Air Force has asked information on potential vendors that can provide support services under a proposed contract vehicle that seeks to consolidate 25 intelligence analysis contracts, Bloomberg Government reported Tuesday.
The proposed NOVASTAR contract will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center’s mission to identify air, space, cyber and missile threats to facilitate weapon systems acquisition, enable multidomain operations and inform national defense policy.
NOVASTAR would cover the sustainment of hardware and software capabilities and delivery of research-and-development services to support the intelligence production requirements of the Air Force and the intelligence community. Work under the contract will primarily occur at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
Interested vendors should state in their responses their capabilities related to intelligence gathering techniques, such as sensors, signals intelligence, geospatial images and open-source information. They should also adhere to NASIC’s software development approach.
Responses to the request for information are due June 30.
