Nineteen vendors have won positions on a 10-year, $2.5 billion U.S. Air Force contract to provide construction, repair and maintenance support for the Department of Defense’s petroleum, oil and lubricant, or POL, facilities.
DOD said Wednesday the military branch received 23 offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a competitive acquisition process.
The Air Force is obligating $57,000 in Defense Logistics Agency working capital reimbursable funds for fiscal 2025 and expects the ordering period to run through March 25, 2035.

Contract Scope
According to a draft statement of work, the multiple award task order contract covers the construction or upgrades of DOD POL facilities, including above-ground and underground storage tanks, hydrant fuel distribution systems, bulk storage systems, military service stations, filter separators, product recovery, system controls and buildings, including pump houses, petroleum operations buildings, fuel truck maintenance buildings or generator buildings.
The selected companies will also plan and execute maintenance visits to complete diagnostic inspections, calibrations, tests and adjustments for all fuel system equipment on an installation.
