The U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory is looking to partner with multiple companies to develop new technologies, designs and integrated systems for the service branch’s aerospace vehicles through a potential $400 million indefinite-quantity indefinite-delivery contract.
AFRL issued a notice of contract action Tuesday to inform vendors of an upcoming one-step broad agency announcement for the Advanced Aerospace Systems Technology Research program.
The laboratory wants to procure contractor services to pursue explore aerospace vehicles, high-speed systems, turbine engines and other competency areas of the scientific research organization’s aerospace systems directorate over a seven-year period that will run through fiscal year 2029.
Participants in the AASTR program will have positions on the IDIQ contract with a nine-month initial task order worth $100,000.
