Air Force Awards 5 Spots on $4.8B Contract for NASIC Intell Production Support Services

Five contractors will compete for task orders under a potential 11-year, $4.8 billion multiple award contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide National Air and Space Intelligence Center with capability support services.

Altamira Technologies, Epsilon Systems Solutions, Modern Technology Solutions Inc., Radiance Technologies and Xandar were selected among 10 contract bidders to assist NASIC in generating scientific and technical intelligence that supports the Air Force, Department of Defense and other national-level intelligence initiatives, DOD said Friday.

Services will support research, development and sustainment of NASIC capabilities for S&TI production, which is done through data collection, analysis and dissemination, among other activities.

Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the companies will mainly conduct work in Dayton, Ohio, through Aug. 22, 2033.

The IDIQ is also a cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-incentive-fee, fixed-price-incentive-firm, time and materials, cost reimbursement, labor hour contract.

The contractors were selected following a competitive acquisition on SAM.gov, and are being obligated $25,000 in fiscal 2022 funds at the time of award.

In July 2021, USAF issued a request for proposals for the NOVASTAR program.
