The Air Force Research Laboratory has asked industry for technical and cost proposals to provide warfighters with propulsion, thermal management and power technologies.
A broad agency announcement posted Friday says AFRL plans to award through the Research Enabling Procurement for Aerospace Systems program two multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts and six initial task orders with a ceiling value of $96M and a performance period of eight years.
AFRL plans to notify vendors by November whether their proposal is recommended for an award and expects to award the contracts by March 2021.
Work under the REPAS program will be carried out mainly at various AFRL facilities and will include component design and development; bench, rig and engine testing; and subsystem integration of technology platforms.
