AECOM Finishes Nuclear Facilities Cleanup in New York; John Vollmer Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 28, 2019 ” AECOM (NYSE: ACM) has concluded the decontamination of Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory™s nuclear facilities in New York as part of a project with the Department of Energy, ExecutiveBiz reported Aug. 20.

The Separations Process Research Unit nuclear facilities, located near Niskayuna, New York, span 50K square feet and were used for chemical processes related to nuclear weapons and power plants, AECOM said Aug. 19. In addition, waste materials were handled on the 27 acres of land near SPRU.
