Accenture™s (NYSE: ACN) federal services unit has been awarded a potential five-year, $290 million contract to help the Transportation Security Administration™s office of human capital recruit between 8, 000 and 10, 000 employees annually.
The company said Thursday Arlington, Virginia-based Accenture Federal Services will assist TSA with its recruitment and hiring operations in efforts to fill critical field roles such as transportation security officers, federal air marshals, as well as field management and administrative officers.
Ed Meehan, head of homeland security, law enforcement and first-response programs at AFS, said the company will work to deliver global human resource operational leadership and federal HR expertise to support the TSA mission to secure the U.S. transportation security infrastructure.
Accenture offers professional management, leadership development, HR strategy consulting, training, staff augmentation, organizational transformation and other services to support federal agencies.
