Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has wrapped up its acquisition of Alexandria, Virginia-based federal government cloud services provider Phase One Consulting Group for an undisclosed sum.
Both companies first announced the deal in June and Accenture said Tuesday it made the acquisition to expand its Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) and cloud offerings in the federal market.
It marks Accenture’s seventh Salesforce-related acquisition since 2014.
“We continue to look for ways to advance our capabilities by investing in expertise and innovative approaches in digital, cloud, cyber, analytics and emerging technologies to design transformational government services that drive better mission outcomes, effectiveness, and customer experiences,” said David Moskovitz, chief executive of Accenture’s federal services business.
Phase One is a Salesforce Platinum Consulting Partner and works with federal clients to help them implement cloud-based applications designed to manage their organizational efficiency and missions.
