Richard Montoni, who served as CEO of Maximus for 12 years beginning in 2006, was honored by the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America’s Technology Good Scout Award in October 2017.
Maximus credited Montoni with transforming the Reston, Virginia-based health and human services provider to “a highly focused, preeminent partner to governments around the globe” and steering the company to grow its revenue to more than $2.4 billion in fiscal 2017.
Montoni retired from the chief executive post on April 1, 2018, and has served as co-vice chair of Maximus’ board of directors since 2021.
He has been selected two times to the annual Wash100 list of GovCon’s most influential figures with his inductions having taken place in 2014 and 2015.
