The U.S. Air Force has awarded nine companies positions on a potential five-year, $145 million contract for transient alert services to the Air Force Installation Contracting Agency.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers management, arrival, processing, departure, emergency, special event and distinguished visitor services, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
AFICA is headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio and responsible for the management and execution of above-wing-level operational acquisition platforms throughout the military branch’s enterprise.

DoD said the service branch will obligate $1, 000 in fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds to each contractor at the time of award.
