Seven companies have landed spots on a potential 10-year, $238 million contract to help the U.S. Marine Corps sustain current and future training equipment for the Fleet Marine Forces.
Marine Corps Systems Command received 14 offers for the Electronic and Communication Services indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which includes a $127.3 million base value over five years, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Contractors can compete for task orders to develop new technologies for USMC training systems such as the Combined Arms Command and Control Trainer Upgrade System, Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer and the Combat Convoy Simulator.
Work under the multiple-award contract would extend through Aug 26, 2031, if the service branch exercises all options.
