7 Companies Hold Spots on $762M USAF Data Platform Support Contract

The U.S. Air Force has awarded seven companies spots on a potential six-year, $762 million contract vehicle for subject matter expert services to the branch’s cloud-based data management platform.

Contractors will compete for task orders to perform data preparation and architecture, data maturity model evaluation, algorithm development and data analysis in support of the Visible Accessible Understandable Linked Trusted platform, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Work locations will be determined with each order and the performance period will run through July 31, 2028.

The Air Force District of Washington received 27 proposals for the indefinite-deliver/indefinite-quantity contract via a full and open competition and is obligating $500 for each awardee.

USAF’s VAULT platform comprises cloud-based tools designed to help airmen access and share data considered essential for the decision-making process.
