6 Firms Awarded $970M in DTRA IDIQ Contracts to Support Cooperative Threat Reduction Program

Six companies have won contracts worth up to $970 million combined to support a Defense Threat Reduction Agency program that aims to stop the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

DTRA’s Cooperative Threat Reduction program seeks to collaborate with foreign countries to counter WMD threats and related technology, materials, expertise and facilities, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

The awardees are:

AECOM’s (NYSE: ACM) URS Federal Services business
Black and Veatch
Jacobs Engineering Group’s (NYSE: JEC) CH2M subsidiary
PAE
Parsons
Raytheon (NYSE: RTN)

The government received seven offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts with a base period and seven options.

DTRA may issue task orders that span for up to three years after the final ordering date and the agency will obligate funds per task order for work that will take place at various locations across the globe.
