Six companies will compete for orders on a five-year, $200 million U.S. Army contract to build 110-foot stoplog slot cuts conversion along the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River navigation system in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers received seven bids via an online solicitation for the contract and will determine work locations and funding upon issuance of each order, the Department of Defense said Monday.

OCCI Inc.
Conversion efforts will include concrete demolition, steel fabrication, dive work and above and below-water concrete placement to complete stoplog recess installation and sill modification, according to solicitation documents.
Work will cover a geographic scope within the Little Rock District and Tulsa District boundaries.
