The U.S. Air Force has awarded five companies positions on a potential three-year, $78.4 million contract to provide information technology support for the military branch’s weapons and command, control, communications, computers and intelligence systems.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract also covers project management, intelligence, security, staff support, system engineering and subject matter expert services.
Fourteen proposals were submitted to the AMIC DET2/PKB organization at Joint Base San Antonio in Texas for the procurement initiative.
Work will occur through Aug. 17, 2019 at various U.S. military air bases in Virginia, California, Texas, Hawaii, Japan, Germany and South Korea.
