Five companies won positions on a potential five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to repair, maintain and modernize existing and new versions of the Landing Craft Air Cushion fleet of the U.S. Navy.
The firm-fixed-price contract centers on LCACs and Ship to Shore Connector class of LCAC vehicles at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek in Virginia. The companies are expected to perform maintenance and modernization services at the site through January 2024, with an option to extend services until 2028.
Each company will be given a minimum $5,000 at the time of the award, and succeeding funds will be obligated upon issuance of delivery order.
The contracting activity is the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center.
