Five companies secured spots on a potential $556 million U.S. Navy contract with a ceiling value of $800 million to deliver technical support for the Office of Chief of Naval Operations’ information technology department.
Tasks encompass IT enterprise architecture, portfolio, information and requirements management and information system development work for the sustainment of the service’s web-based human resource platform, MyNavyHR.
DOD said the award has a 60-month base ordering period valued at $556 million and slated to begin in November. The Navy has the option to exercise an additional six-month ordering period to extend the procurement effort until April 2027.
The branch received 17 offers for the IDIQ contract and will distribute $50,000 in minimum funds to the winning contractors.
Work will take place in Florida, Tennessee, Virginia and other locations throughout the continental U.S.
