The service branch officially awarded six positions on the multiple-award contract vehicle to include BAE’s ship repair businesses in Virginia and California, according to a Department of Defense notice released Wednesday.
DOD added the branch will obligate $3,000 in working capital funds on the six awards to cover the minimum contract amount.
Each firm will receive $500 for minimum working capital. The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support will allocate additional funding along individual task orders under the firm-fixed-price contract.
