The Defense Information Systems Agency has awarded 20 companies positions on a potential 10-year, $17.5 billion contract vehicle for information technology products and services for IT modernization efforts at the Defense Department and other federal agencies.
DISA received 72 bids for the full and open track of the Encore III indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract that has a base term of five years and five option years, DoD said Thursday.
The award came more than a year after DISA reissued a solicitation for the multiple-award contract to comply with the Government Accountability Offices recommendations following bid protests.
The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization will obligate $10,000 to all awardees as a minimum guaranteed amount for the contract.
