TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 22, 2018 Brian Baldrate, vice president and general counsel for Raytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) international and Washington, D.C., operations, has said the company looks at a supplier’s compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations to guide decisions on business opportunities as a prime contractor for government.
He told ExecutiveBiz in an interview published May 14 that ITAR compliance serves not only to help companies avoid liability but also as a business discriminator, particularly for small enterprises that seek to grow their international operations.
