TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 25, 2018 A General Atomics business unit has completed tests on the performance of an arresting hook that it built with Fokker for a proposed U.S. Navy unmanned aerial refueling aircraft under the MQ-25 Stingray program, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. and Fokker worked to verify the Hold Down Damper‘s spring rate, pressure control and other performance characteristics with positive findings in initial bounce, bolster as well as upswing and rebound at different operational temperatures, General Atomics said Monday.
