Michael Lewis
Michael Lewis, a public sector veteran with more than 30 years of experience, has been appointed vice president and general manager of the government services unit at Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM).
He will oversee the organization that works with federal agencies to help them store, access, secure and manage physical and electronic records, Iron Mountain said Wednesday.
“I look forward to playing a significant role in helping our federal customers realize their goals for improved information management across their enterprises, “ Lewis noted.
Lewis has previously managed the defense health division at Computer Services Corp. before the company’s government services segment merged with SRA Internationalto create a new company known as CSRA (NYSE: CSRA).
He also held various leadership roles for 19 years at Siemens, where he oversaw public-sector offerings and sales within the company’s enterprise communications group, and worked in senior executive positions at IBM (NYSE: IBM) and General Electric.
