What Is the Contract’s Scope of Work?

The competitively awarded task order falls under DLA’s Weapons Support portfolio and covers a five-year base period plus two option periods. AFFL is responsible for a wide range of supply chain functions, including managing over 36,000 national stock numbers and ensuring parts reach roughly 150,000 storage bins spread across more than 100 buildings. The company is also expected to make and deliver upward of 1,450 distinct kit configurations, in addition to handling demand planning, sourcing, procurement and inventory management to comply with strict first-pass acceptance targets.

To carry out the work, ASRC Federal plans to use its Integrated Logistics Toolkit, an in-house management information system that combines supply chain automation with a customer-facing portal. The platform is already deployed across several of the company’s existing DLA IPV contracts.

What Is ASRC Federal’s History With DLA’s IPV Programs?

The award builds on more than 25 years of experience ASRC Federal has accumulated supporting DLA’s IPV programs. As a U.S. Navy IPV program contractor, the company was tasked to perform hardware and material management services for three Navy Fleet Readiness Centers and 13 satellite sites in 2024. Its other Navy IPV work includes maintaining approximately 20 aviation weapon systems and their components.
