The scope includes the Advanced Computer Avionics Intermediate Shop, the Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop, the Versamodule Extensions for Instrumentation Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop and the Rackmount Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop.

The contractor will also support systems integration, logistics management, sustaining engineering activities, software development, obsolescence mitigation and supply chain risk management activities intended to maintain operational readiness across the F-16 fleet.

What Is Leidos’ History With the F-16 AIS Program?

In 2018, the Air Force awarded Leidos a potential five-year, $620 million contract to serve as the independent prime product support integrator for the F-16 AIS program.

That contract covered similar work requirements under the new award, supporting Air Force organizations and allied F-16 operators.
