ICE Plans Potential $100M Data Analytics Support BPA for Screening, Vetting Operations

  • ICE is planning a $100 million contract for analytics and investigative support services
  • The requirement will support screening, vetting and criminal analysis operations
  • The effort reflects a broader DHS push toward AI and data-driven enforcement tools

Immigration and Customs Enforcement is preparing a contract opportunity valued at more than $100 million for data and analytical support services tied to screening, vetting and criminal analysis activities.

According to a notice posted on the Department of Homeland Security’s Acquisition Planning Forecast System on Wednesday, the requirement will support operational functions of Homeland Security Investigations and broader ICE mission areas.

The planned blanket purchase agreement is expected to use a labor-hour contract structure, with a solicitation release anticipated for June 15 and an award projected for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026.ICE Plans Potential $100M Data Analytics Support BPA for Screening, Vetting Operations

DHS and industry leaders will discuss emerging priorities in data modernization, AI, cybersecurity and operational technology at the Potomac Officers Club’s 2026 Homeland Security Summit on Nov. 12. Register now to join conversations on mission-driven innovation, procurement trends and evolving operational requirements shaping DHS agencies, including ICE and Homeland Security Investigations.

What Services Will the ICE Requirement Support?

According to the forecast notice, contractors will support efforts involving data extraction, anomaly detection, trend analysis, and identification of potential criminal or fraudulent activity tied to immigration and customs enforcement.

Additional work includes automating methods for detecting and monitoring relationships between entities, summarizing analytical findings and graphically representing connections across investigations and enforcement activities.

ICE said the support will help identify potential criminal behavior and detect attempts to exploit U.S. immigration and customs laws before crimes or fraud materialize.

The work is expected to continue through Sept. 29, 2031, with performance centered in Washington, D.C.

According to the forecast notice, this new requirement will be awarded on a non-competitive basis.

How Does the BPA Align With DHS Data Modernization Efforts?

The planned procurement reflects broader DHS efforts to expand the use of advanced analytics, automation and artificial intelligence in operational and investigative missions.

Earlier this month, the Coast Guard unveiled plans for a separate data, analytics and AI support contract opportunity exceeding $100 million. That requirement supports the service’s enterprise data and AI modernization efforts under Force Design 2028.

ICE has also continued investing in large-scale digital modernization initiatives tied to enforcement, health services and investigative operations.

It disclosed plans for a shared electronic health record BPA expected to exceed $100 million in value. The requirement would support the integration of detainee health records shared across ICE Health Service Corps and Customs and Border Protection operations.

The agency has also expanded operational technology programs supporting immigration enforcement and investigations. In 2025, Palantir secured a task order valued at nearly $30 million to continue supporting ImmigrationOS, an operational platform used by ICE enforcement and removal operations and Homeland Security Investigations.
