York Space Systems Expands Multi-Orbit Communications Capabilities With ALL.SPACE Acquisition

York Space Systems has agreed to acquire satellite communications terminal provider ALL.SPACE, a move aimed at strengthening York’s ability to deliver resilient, multi-domain connectivity for defense and commercial missions.York Space Systems Expands Multi-Orbit Communications Capabilities With ALL.SPACE Acquisition

The deal will bring ALL.SPACE’s multi-orbit, multi-band communications technology into York’s broader mission architecture, with ALL.SPACE operating as a wholly owned subsidiary following the transaction’s close, expected in the third quarter, York said Thursday.

The Potomac Officers Club’s 2026 Air and Space Summit, scheduled for July 30, will feature discussions on how leaders are integrating advanced technologies and developing strategies to address evolving challenges across the air and space domains. Register now!

According to York CEO Dirk Wallinger, the acquisition advances the company’s effort to build an integrated communications ecosystem capable of operating in contested environments.

What Capabilities Does ALL.SPACE Bring?

Founded in 2019, ALL.SPACE develops software-defined terminals designed to maintain connectivity for low Earth, medium Earth, geostationary and highly elliptical orbit operations.

Its Hydra terminal platform enables simultaneous connections to multiple networks, providing platforms operating in space, air, land and maritime environments with reliable communications even when individual links are disrupted. The technology is built for mobility, supporting defense users who require continuous connectivity while on the move.

Demonstrating its agnostic connectivity edge, ALL.SPACE has secured certifications to operate on Viasat’s Global Xpress and SES’ O3b mPOWER networks.

How Does the Deal Fit York’s Growth Strategy?

The acquisition builds on York’s efforts to vertically integrate key elements of the space mission stack.

In March, the company acquired propulsion provider Orbion Space Technology to align spacecraft propulsion with platform design and mission operations. The addition of ALL.SPACE extends that strategy into communications, an increasingly critical layer as missions shift toward distributed and proliferated architectures.

York has been positioning itself as a “mission prime,” combining spacecraft, ground systems and communications capabilities. The company demonstrated cross-network and space-to-ground connectivity through efforts such as NASA’s Polylingual Experimental Terminal mission, which validated interoperability between government and commercial relay networks.

The latest deal reflects York’s continued momentum since going public and a series of contract wins and program expansions tied to national security space missions.

“Demand is accelerating for resilient communications in complex operational environments, and our technology is proven to deliver in those conditions,” said ALL.SPACE CEO Paul McCarter. “Partnering with York allows us to scale that capability and deliver it to an even broader set of missions.”
