What Does the Contract Modification Include?

The Department of War said Monday the modification adds $1.2 billion to the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts valued at $1.31 billion. These modifications increase the total contract value to support ongoing sustainment and training for fielded systems.

Which Companies Were Selected for the Award?

Companies selected to compete for task orders include:

  • BGI-Aero Simulation JV
  • CAE USA
  • Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma
  • Engineering Support Personnel
  • Fidelity Technologies
  • FlightSafety Defense
  • LB&B Associates
  • LTSS JV
  • Valiant Global Defense Services

Aside from Engineering Support Personnel and LTSS JV, the other companies were previously selected for the $1.31 billion contract.

What Work Will Contractors Perform?

The companies will continue providing sustainment and training support for fielded systems, including operating and maintaining training simulators and delivering instructional services. The work also covers simulator enhancements and relocations, systems management, engineering support and logistics services for the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division.

The contractors will perform work at multiple Navy installations in Connecticut, Florida, Louisiana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Orleans, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington. The project is expected to run through August 2027.
