Arcfield Closes Rite-Solutions Acquisition

Chantilly, Virginia-based government technology company Arcfield has finalized its acquisition of Rite-Solutions as part of a push to expand its national security capabilities and domain expertise.

Arcfield said Tuesday the acquisition allows it to combine Rite Solutions’ expertise in naval systems and undersea warfare with its nuclear surety and missile engineering capabilities.

“As a defense-technology hybrid company, we have been intensely focused from day one on providing our mission partners with a technological edge,” said Kevin Kelly, chairman and CEO of Arcfield.

“We are building an organization uniquely positioned to deliver exceptional national security support spanning every domain—from the depths of the ocean floor to the edges of space—and the acquisition of Rite-Solutions gets us there,” added Kelly, a previous Wash100 awardee.

Joe Marino, CEO and co-founder of Rite-Solutions, noted that the combination will enable the company to expand its business beyond undersea warfare.

“Additionally, their leadership position in model-based systems engineering and artificial intelligence innovation will enable us to deliver a more robust capability set to our existing Navy and federal customers,” Marino said of Arcfield.

Latham & Watkins and Crowell & Moring served as counsel to Arcfield. The McLean Group acted as adviser to Rite-Solutions, which was represented by Fluet and Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar.
