Arcfield has acquired Strategic Technology Consulting in a move that expands the systems engineering and integration company’s scope to model-based approaches.
The acquisition adds digital twin and software products and modeling methodologies for digital engineering to Arcfield’s portfolio, the company said Tuesday.
STC ventured into the model-based systems engineering field in its foundation in 2013. Since then, it has provided support such as MBSE-as-a-Service, deployment of integrated digital engineering environment, and SE training and software.
“Arcfield has invested heavily in the development, refinement and advancement of our digital engineering and MBSE capabilities to support our customers in their shift from traditional SE&I to an all-digital model,” said Kevin Kelly, chairman and chief executive officer of Arcfield.
