Capgemini Government Solutions Appoints Yemi Oshinnaiye as Chief Technologist

Capgemini Government Solutions announced on LinkedIn Monday that Yemi Oshinnaiye has been appointed chief technologist.

In his new capacity, Oshinnaiye will guide the company in advancing commercial innovation for the federal mission by integrating Capgemini’s commercial offerings with his extensive public sector expertise.

“Yemi is a visionary technologist who knows how to turn innovation into mission impact,” said Dan Ford, CEO of Capgemini Government Solutions. “His deep insight into government challenges and proven ability to deliver secure, scalable tech solutions will be a tremendous asset for our customers,” added the recipient of the 2025 Wash100 Award

Who Is Yemi Oshinnaiye?

Oshinnaiye is a seasoned IT executive with significant experience in technology leadership and enterprise transformation, and a proven track record of delivering innovation in mission-critical settings.

His executive career spans both federal and commercial sectors, where he has spearheaded efforts to enhance customer experience, implement agile practices, strengthen cybersecurity and apply artificial intelligence to modernize mission-critical IT systems for national security.

Prior to joining CGS, Oshinnaiye was chief information officer at the Transportation Security Administration and deputy CIO at the Department of Homeland Security. He also served as chief technology officer for a government contractor. Early in his career, he worked for over a decade at Electronic Data Systems.
