CACI Wins $983M DHS Desktop Support Services 3.0 BPA

The Department of Homeland Security has awarded a CACI International subsidiary a potential five-year, $983 million follow-on blanket purchase agreement for IT support services in support of the DHS Office of the Chief Information Officer.

According to an award notice published Wednesday on the Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation, DHS launched a full and open competition and received 30 offers for the Desktop Support Services, or DSS, 3.0 BPA.

The ordering period of the DSS 3.0 BPA awarded to CACI NSS will run through Sept. 24, 2030.

DHS announced plans for a recompete in September 2024 and issued a request for information for the DSS 3.0 BPA in January.

According to the statement of work, the contractor should develop and implement platforms that drive program innovation and business transformation and provide business process automation services, a smooth customer experience and enhanced remote support capabilities.

The selected vendor should also adopt a continual service improvement approach that promotes innovation and modernization of the DHS HQ IT infrastructure.

The department’s DSS 3.0 BPA covers several tasks, including general services; systems and network support; hardware and software support; service management platform support; and artificial intelligence support.
