Systecon North America has appointed retired U.S. Air Force Col. Kevin Sampels as senior vice president of operations.
Bringing more than 35 years of expertise in logistics operations, systems acquisition, supply chain design, global distribution and maintenance, Sampels will advance predictive analytics capabilities, supporting the Department of Defense and industry partners in proactively addressing sustainment challenges and improving decision-making and operational readiness, Systecon said Tuesday.

The executive, who possesses certified expertise in lifecycle logistics and program management, has led organizations, commanded global operations, and implemented innovative sustainment and readiness practices worldwide.
Sampels’ career includes service as vice chair of the National Defense Industrial Association’s logistics management division, board member of the Institute for Defense and Business, and adviser to the Logistics Officer Association and Aviation Week Network, among other organizations.
