According to an award notice posted on SAM.gov on Thursday, work under the Metasys Building Automation Systems IV contract will support utility monitoring and control systems; heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; supervisory control and data acquisition systems; fire alarm safety technologies; and electronic security systems, such as barriers, fencing, gates, window treatments, hardening and lighting. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of July 16, 2030.
The base ordering period spans 36 months, with a 24-month optional ordering period. Johnson Controls was the sole bidder for the contract, which was solicited online.
