V2X has secured a cost-plus-fixed-fee, undefinitized contract action from the U.S. Air Force to support the Iraq F-16 program. The $118 million award was a sole source acquisition and includes foreign military sales to Iraq, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Details of V2X’s Contract to Support Air Force in Iraq
The company will provide base support, including base operating and life support and security. The place of performance is at Martyr Brigadier General Ali Flaih Air Base, formerly Balad Air Base, in Iraq.
The estimated completion date of the contract is Nov. 30, 2026.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio serves as the contracting activity.
V2X Supporting US Navy
The contract action comes a few months after the defense contractor won a $103 million deal from the U.S. Navy to deliver C-26 military aircraft logistic support. The award covers the support of eight of the Navy’s C-26A and C-26D rapid-response transports across four operating bases within and outside the United States.
