Trace Systems Lands $564M Field Representative Support Contract From US Army

Trace Systems has secured a contract valued at $564 million from the U.S. Army to support the Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications, Networks. Under the contract, Trace Systems will deploy global field service representatives, or FSRs, to ensure that the Army and PEO-C3N can achieve their vision for a streamlined and unified network. 

According to the digital transformation and IT company, over 200 personnel with expertise in cybersecurity, satellite communications, networking and IT will be deployed within and outside the continental United States. 

The award is made as part of the Global Tactical Advanced Communications Systems, or GTACS II, contract vehicle. 

Trace Systems’ History of Army Support

According to Greg Filak, the company’s vice president of communications solutions, Trace Systems has been delivering engineering, analytical, design and communications system expertise to the Army and the broader Department of Defense for nearly two decades. 

“We take pride in providing comprehensive satellite communications solutions that span so many key elements of the Army’s needs, whether it’s providing satellite bandwidth, fixed terrestrial, tactical or mobile terminals, engineering, fielding or operational control center services,” the executive shared. “We look forward to continuing our support to PEO C3N under this contract by addressing the critical FSR component.”

The Tampa, Florida-based company also recently won an Army contract valued at $352 million for advanced communications technologies.
