The Department of Defense said Friday the selected vendor will execute fiscal 2025 Selected Restricted Availability, or SRA, activities on the USS New York (LPD 21) ship.
Naval Sea Systems Command launched a competitive procurement process and received three offers for the firm-fixed-price contract, which has a base value of approximately $89.7 million.
According to a solicitation issued in November, the FY 2025 SRA for LPD 21 includes the provision of maintenance, repair and modernization services and requires the contractor to have substantial facilities and human resources to integrate and complete ship repair work.
Work will occur in Norfolk, Virginia, through September 2027.
NAVSEA will support the contract using the Navy’s fiscal 2025 operation and maintenance funds and other procurement funds for fiscal years 2023 and 2025.
