Richard Forsht’s Career Highlights
The executive joined 22nd Century Technologies from the General Services Administration, where he served as program manager and senior enterprise architect for over a year. In the role, Forsht led efforts to identify future IT service needs of the government and ensure next-generation contracts are cost-effective and future-proof.
Before GSA, he also led as chief of the Global Service Desk Management Office at the Defense Information Systems Agency for 13 years. During his time at the agency, Forsht was involved in a service desk as a service portfolio for the Department of Defense’s 4th Estate and oversaw a global team of 658 IT professionals across 30 remote locations to provide IT support.
In the private sector, Forsht held the roles of deputy engineering program manager and senior IT consultant at Verizon for over nine years and was a senior IT consultant for ITT Advanced Engineering and Sciences.
Earlier in his career, the IT expert served as an IT and telecom senior architect for the U.S. Air Force.
