In 2019, a Dynetics-led team initially booked a contract with the Army to develop C-HGB prototypes. The contractors worked with Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and General Atomics on the three-year C-HGB prototyping initiative.
The award was followed in 2023 by a contract modification in which the company was tasked with building the C-HGB system.
