For Your Information, or FYI, a provider of human capital management and IT services to federal agencies, has appointed Sara Sami as president.
Sami will be responsible for managing strategy implementation, expanding federal human capital and IT services footprint, strengthening existing partnerships with government agencies and stakeholders, and building new customer relationships, FYI said.
The new company president has over two decades of leadership experience in the government contracting and human capital sectors. Before joining FYI, she was vice president of human resources at Buchanan & Edwards. She also held the same role at RenXTech and spent time as vice president of people and culture at MetroStar Systems and as director of learning and development and talent management at Cognosante, according to her LinkedIn profile.
FYI CEO Brooke Neblett welcomed Sami to the company, saying that her experience and expertise in human capital and IT in the federal government and commercial sectors align with FYI’s core business areas. Neblett also expressed confidence that appointing Sami as president will enable the company to expand and scale its business and enhance organizational efficiencies.
