The company announced Jorgensen’s appointment in a LinkedIn post published Friday.
The U.S. Army veteran said it has been an honor to join American Ordnance and Day & Zimmermann teams, which are focused on delivering quality products and services in support of customers’ mission.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Jorgensen most recently served as an aerospace and defense leader at Leonardo DRS for over two decades.
American Ordnance is part of D&Z’s munitions and government business and produces ammunition for the U.S. military.
