Sentar has received a potential five-year, $172.7 million follow-on task order to help the Defense Health Agency protect military information systems from cyberthreats.
The Huntsville, Alabama-based company said Thursday the Cybersecurity Risk Management Operations recompete task order awarded by the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic has a one-year base period worth $32 million and four option years that, if exercised, could bring the award’s total value to approximately $173 million.
Through the task order, Sentar will work with NIWC Atlantic to help DHA implement cybersecurity measures for servers and workstation assets and programs of record systems across the Military Health System.
Nathan Swab, a director at Sentar, said the company will leverage its cybersecurity expertise to help enhance the security posture of MHS and ensure the delivery of health care services to millions of beneficiaries.
“This partnership is a testament to Sentar’s dedication to protecting critical information systems and our unwavering commitment to national security,” added Swab.
In 2020, the woman-owned small business secured a $164 million task order from NIWC Atlantic to provide cybersecurity support for DHA.
