The U.S. Navy has awarded eight companies contract options worth $1.86 billion combined to continue providing professional management and technical services in support of the military branch’s cyberspace operation systems and capabilities.
The award exercises the second option year of a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and extends support to Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific in maintaining the architecture, functionality and interoperability of cyberspace operations systems at the tactical, operational and strategic levels, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The awardees and their respective contract option details are:
BAE Systems, $205.6 million
Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), $204 million
ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI), $240.2 million
Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), $223.7 million
Parsons (NYSE: PSN), $212 million
Peraton, $428.1 million
Science Applications International Corp. (Nasdaq: SAIC), $170.5 million
Scientific Research Corp., $171.9 million
Work under the contract option will occur in San Diego, California, through May 2026.
NIWC Pacific will obligate funds upon the issuance of individual orders.
Nine companies were originally awarded seven-year contracts to support the Navy’s cyberspace operations in May 2016.
Perspecta and Northrop Grumman‘s (NYSE: NOC) federal information technology and mission business are now part of Peraton, a Veritas Capital portfolio company.
