Kent Wilcher was promoted to chief growth officer of the U.S. government business arm of KBR (NYSE: KBR) from his post as vice president of national security solutions business development, he announced in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday.
He brings to his new post at KBR U.S. Government Solutions more than 20 years of experience in business development and has spent most of his career at Jacobs Solutions (NYSE: J).
He joined Jacobs in 2004 as project manager and team lead. Over his 16-year term in the company, he took on various roles including division VP of business development as well as growth and sales and VP of capture, solutions and strategy.
Prior to KBR, Wilcher worked for more than two years at IT service management firm LinQuest as chief growth officer.
