Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) One Source business will continue providing the U.S. Army with geospatial services under a $99 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.
The contractors will vie for each order of the award to determine funding and locations of work, which is expected to run through May 12, 2024, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Leidos and General Dynamics One Source will perform services in support of the Army Geospatial Center, which is responsible for gathering, analyzing, managing and disseminating geospatial data and products to develop the service branch’s geospatial enterprise. The Alexandria, Virginia-based Army Corps of Engineers major subordinate center also provides acquisition support.
The two companies were previously under a contract with the Army for a five-year, $200 million geospatial support work. They were tasked to contribute technical expertise to related Army programs.
